Alsace AOC - The Klevener de Heiligenstein comes from an area adjacent to the village of Heiligenstein defined in 1995 as AOP. The variety, Savagnin Rose, is a type of Traminer, an early version of Gewurztraminer, saved from extinction in 1742 by Ehret Wantz
