Production area: Impruneta, Greve in Chianti, 15 km south of Florence, traditionally a high quality Tuscan wines production area.
Soil: calcareous, a mix of Clay and marl. Poor soil that gives high quality grapes.
Production per plant: 2Kg ca., quantity that permits to the grapes to reach a perfect maturation.
Grapes: Trebbiano 60%, Malvasia bianca 40 % . The grapes come exclusively from vineyards of more than 40 years.
Harvest: manual harvest in small baskets to maintain the fruit integrity. The grapes are hand-picked at the end of August – beginning of September, to maintain an acidity levelthat will exalt the freshness and the fruits of the finished wine.
