Dear press representatives,
One of the world’s oldest wine growing regions will showcase this month the fruits of its labour at ProWein 2014, with Israel being represented by eight wineries both well-established and also by newcomers to the international wine scene.
Flavoured by the Mediterranean climate, and Israel’s unique geological conditions, Israeli wine presented at ProWein reflects centuries of winemaking technique and enthusiasm for wines with a difference.
From Cabernet Sauvignon, to Shiraz, and Chardonnay to Gewürztraminer, a full range from across Israel’s most innovative and awardwinning winemakers will be available for the press to sample and savour at ProWein, providing the opportunity to taste modern wines from ancient regions such as Galilee and the Judean Hills.
At this year’s ProWein, which will take place in Düsseldorf from 23-25 March, the following Israeli wineries will showcase their fine wines at the Israeli pavilion organised by the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute (IEICI) and the Israel trade centre in Berlin in:
• Golan Heights Winery
• Jerusalem Wineries
• Galil Mountain Winery
• Recanati Winery
• Tzora Vineyards
• Rimon Winery
• Bazelet Hagolan Winery
• Teperberg 1870 Winery
The press are invited to try the full range of Israeli wines at these times, as well as information for media on Israeli wine cultivation, innovative winemaking methods and bottling,
