Selva d’Oro

From the vineyards of Casale in San Gimignano, the Selva d’Oro is a light white wine, perfectly dry, with a slight aroma of fresh fruit, not barrel-fermented and made from Vernaccia and Chardonnay grapes. Preferably drunk young and fresh, it is excellent with appetisers, pasta and white meat, or on its own as an aperitif. In 1996, the Selva d’Oro received the IGT Tuscany appellation.

Mora di Selva

Sangiovese Toscano
Mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes from vineyards in the hills around San Gimignano, this Tuscan red wine spends a brief period in barrels, then is aged in the bottle before leaving the cellar. The Mora di Selva is distinguished by its characteristic intense ruby red colour and distinct blackberry aroma. The characteristics of the Sangiovese Toscano are best appreciated when the wine is decanted.

Paretaio

aroma of marasca cherries, spices and chocolate
Careful selection of the grapes and wise use of the barrel, while respecting the characteristics of the Tuscan Sangiovese produces an elegant wine of great balance and structure, that is soft and velvety, with a balanced taste. It is produced by the Paretaio vineyard in San Gimignano, with Sangiovese grapes (95%) and other red grapes (5% Merlot) selected by hand at the time of harvest. After about 12 months in oak barrels of 225 l, it is placed in bottles and aged for a further 12 months before being put on sale. The Paretaio has a deep ruby red colour, tending towards garnet with ageing; it has a distinct aroma of ripe marasca cherry, spice and chocolate; it is dry, austere, spicy and balanced on the palate. It goes well with red meat dishes and grilled game, soft cheeses and moderately / very mature, non-spicy cheeses
