Accreditation

General rules on accrediting journalists at trade fairs in Germany

Dear Sir or Madam,

In order to make your preparations for the forthcoming ProWein from

4 to 6 March 2012 as convenient as possible we have compiled some information for you:

  • There will be no pre-accreditation or surface-mailing of press cards for ProWein 2012 in the run-up to the event; accreditation will only be possible on site! We have accreditation counters at the foyer of the administration building, at the Press Center as well as at the North and South entrances. Please submit a valid and recognized press pass or credentials issued by your editor-in-chief. A voucher copy featuring your name in the Editor’s Notes in conjunction with your personal ID card will also be accepted. Please appreciate that all non-editors such as marketing or advertising managers are not eligible for press passes. Please be informed that prior inclusion in the Messe Düsseldorf press mailing list does not automatically guarantee the issuing of a press card.
  • The Press Center is located at the administration building/1st floor and open daily from 4 to 6 March 2012 from 8.30am to 7.00pm. Here, you will find lockers and technical facilities such as PC, Internet access, W-LAN, fax, telephone and copiers. Needless to say, you will also obtain all information related to ProWein, press releases and specialist articles as well as snacks and refreshments (for a contribution towards costs).
  • For information on attractive hotel and travel offers contact our partner, Düsseldorf Marketing Tourismus (http://business.duesseldorf-tourismus.de/messe/prowein/).
  • Detailed access directions for travelling by bus, train or car can be found online at http://www.prowein.de/, under Press Service and the menu item “Anreise”. If you travel by car, please use the multi-storey car park “P4” on Stockumer Kirchstrasse next to administration towers (please follow the signs “Messe Verwaltung). If you visit the trade fair for the first time, please take a parking ticket. When you leave, please show your press accreditation issued by us. You will then receive your ticket to exit free of charge. During the following days the accreditation also acts as permit for the car park and entitles you to a ticket to exit. The staff attending the press car park is instructed to only accept the aforementioned credentials. Please understand that this measure is taken in the interest of the smoothest operations possible. We only want to make sure that the press parking spaces are kept available for you and not occupied by unauthorised visitors.
  • The best way of preparing the visit in terms of contents is our daily updated exhibitor database of ProWein 2012 at http://www.prowein.de/ under “Companies & Products”. Thanks to various search criteria such as company name, product category or country you can compile your personal itinerary and identify the optimal route through the exhibition halls with the help of the MyOrganizer functionality. Furthermore, exhibitors publish current Product Information and Innovations in this database. Sorted by product category these have also been stored for you at the Press Area of http://www.prowein.de/

Please contact us if you have any questions, the ProWein press team will be glad to help. You can reach us by phone on ++49(0)211/4560-598/929 or by e-mail at KuhnC@messe-duesseldorf.de and KueppersB@messe-duesseldorf.de. We wish you a pleasant trip and look forward to welcoming you in Düsseldorf.
